Heartfelt Helpers are what we call our incredible volunteers who make items and send them to us to distribute. Here’s what we accept:

  • 6 x 6 in crocheted or knitted squares

Heartfelt Helpers FAQs

Do I have to be a certain age to be a Heartfelt Helper?
Nope! We believe that giving back doesn’t have an age limit, so absolutely anyone can join our program.

I want to be a Heartfelt Helper but can’t afford supplies and/or don’t have time. What can I do?
If you can’t purchase supplies without financial assistance, we’re happy to help! Fill out this form. Busy schedule? No problem! Help us out by donating money or even just sharing our mission on social media. Every bit helps!

Can I get volunteer hours?
Absolutely! Here’s our hour system:
– 6 in x 6 in squares : 1 hour per square
– 12 in x 12 in squares : 3 hours per square
– full afghan : 25 hours (other size blankets will be evaluated when we get them)
– scarf: 9 hours
– hat: 5 hours
– stuffed animals: it depends! We’ll evaluate them when they arrive
